Steel, paper print
Simple steel stands held cut paper forms throughout an exhibition space. On the paper are photographic prints of abstracted movement beneath the water line.
This work explores the fragments of water and light whilst submerged and the dissociative effect being within a body of water has on your mind.
The stands are simple welded structures that just about hold the weight and form of the paper. Tentative and slightly precarious.
The paper forms take on their own shape. They roll in on themselves. They flop onto the floor, gathering dust and footprints. The flattened representations of water then become amorphic forms.
